Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Stylify: the Mac app, the Word add-in, the web app at app.stylifyword.com, and this website. By installing or using Stylify you agree to them. If you use Stylify for an organisation, you agree on its behalf.

The service

Stylify formats Microsoft Word documents from instructions you type. The Word add-in needs the Stylify Mac app installed on the same computer, and works in Word for Mac and Word on the web. Windows is not supported.

Accounts

You need an account to use Stylify. Keep your login details private, and tell us at team@stylifyword.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Trial, plans and payment

• New accounts get a 7-day free trial. No card is needed to start it.
• After the trial, Stylify needs a paid plan. Current prices are on our pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Lifetime plans are a one-off payment for continued use of the plan you bought, for as long as we offer Stylify.
• Hosted credits roll over for 12 months from purchase, then expire.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and handles tax and invoicing.
• If you are not happy, email team@stylifyword.com within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it in full.

Your documents

Your documents stay yours. In Local mode, formatting runs on your Mac and your document content does not leave it. If you choose hosted processing or bring your own API key, the text needed to format your document is sent to the model provider for that request only. We do not use your documents to train models. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect.

Acceptable use

Do not use Stylify to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service. Do not resell or share your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Our software

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Stylify while your account is in good standing. We keep all rights to the software, the Stylify name and the logo.

Changes and availability

We may change or improve Stylify, and may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Stylify after that means you accept the new terms.

No warranty

Stylify uses AI and can make mistakes. Check your documents before you rely on them, and keep backups. Stylify is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or documents. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your use

You can stop using Stylify and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms. Sections on liability, warranties and our software continue after your account ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
